I’ve tried a few other (cheap) digiscope adapters. On Glass blows them away. I used several products that used a clamp mechanism that each use you had to tighten down the clamp and manually try to center the camera to the mounting hole and then hope it didn’t shift and lose line of sight to the optic. I’m done with those. I’ve bought two On Glass adapters: one for my spotting scope and one for my binoculars and it’s nice being able to use the same MagSafe backer on my phone with any digiscope adapter.
The materials used are light weight and high quality. From a straight product standpoint they seem overpriced (to this old fashioned guy), but I’m willing to pay for it because of the convenience , speed and reliability that I need from the system. Expensive, but worth it if you’re digiscoping. (I have not used any other leading/quality brands, so I can’t compare to those. From my research On Glass looks to be the most user friendly).
I would emphasize to take your time lining up and mounting your mag tab to your phone case or MagSafe backer . I highly recommend the MagSafe baker for seamless on/easy off connection to your phone or other phones.
Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and looking forward to going on hunts and being able to quickly, seamlessly mounting to my optic without fumbling around with a clunky digiscope system. Thanks On Glass - well done.
